This Privacy Policy explains how Train with Jens ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website, iOS app, and the 12-Week Hybrid Race Prep program (together, the "Service").
Information we collect
- Account information — your email address, and a display name and profile photo if you choose to add one.
- Training information — the workouts you complete, your race selection, and progress you log within the app.
- Payment information — purchases are processed by Stripe and, for in-app purchases, by Apple. We receive confirmation of your purchase and subscription status, but we never receive or store your full card details.
- Usage and device information — basic technical data needed to operate the Service and send notifications.
Apple Health (HealthKit) data
With your explicit permission, the iOS app reads the following data from Apple Health to power daily readiness coaching:
- Heart rate variability (HRV)
- Resting heart rate
- Respiratory rate
- Sleep analysis
This data is used only to assess your recovery and tailor your training guidance. We never use Health data for advertising or marketing, and we never sell it. You can grant or revoke this access at any time in the iOS Health app settings, and the Service works without it.
How we use your information
- To deliver the program and your daily training and readiness guidance.
- To create and secure your account and provide the community chat.
- To process purchases and manage subscriptions.
- To send service-related messages and notifications you opt into.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
How your information is shared
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service — including Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Apple (in-app purchases), Resend (email), and OneSignal (push notifications) — and only as needed to provide it. We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app, which removes your personal data, subject to records we are required to keep for legal or accounting purposes.
Your choices
- Access, correct, or delete your account data from within the app.
- Revoke Apple Health permissions at any time in iOS settings.
- Turn off push notifications at any time.
